At Dogtopia, we’re always looking for ways to help dogs live longer, healthier, and happier lives – and to give pet parents peace of mind knowing their pup is thriving. That’s why we’re so excited to introduce DASH, our brand-new activity monitor created in partnership with the pet-tech experts at PitPat.

This little device is a big deal. It’s the first activity monitor designed specifically for the dog daycare environment.

What is DASH?

DASH is a small, lightweight device that securely attaches to your dog’s collar or harness. It’s built tough for the playroom, with a special protective cover so it can handle all the zoomies, wrestling, and tail wags that come with a day at Dogtopia. The battery lasts up to a year (yes, a whole year!) and syncs directly with our Dogtopia mobile app so you can easily check in on your dog’s activity.

Why You’ll Love It

We all know exercise is good for dogs, but did you know active, healthy pups can live up to 1.5 years longer than those who are overweight or sedentary? With DASH, you can actually see how much activity your dog gets during the day, from steps taken, to miles covered, to minutes spent in motion.

On average, dogs at Dogtopia log more than 8 miles of movement in a single daycare day. That’s double the activity most dogs get at home! And now, you can watch those numbers add up in real time. Even better, in some cases, changes in a dog’s usual activity have helped our team spot potential health issues early, giving parents time to follow up with their vet and get their pup feeling better faster.

How to Get Started

DASH is available now at participating Dogtopia locations. Just ask our team during your next visit, and we’ll get your pup geared up and ready to go. Your dog gets to play, exercise, and socialize with their BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever) and you get the joy of seeing just how much fun, and healthy activity they’ve had. It’s a win-win! Visit your local Dogtopia and ask about DASH today.
